Author : Bishop Julius Okarike

Verse Of The Day : Tremble with fear and do not sin! Meditate as you lie in bed, and repent of your ways! Psalms 4:4

LISTEN : Wisdom begins with the fear of God. Until we know God we know nothing. My dear, the pitiable state of life is to live without the fear of God (Psalms 14:1; 9:17). Lack of fear of God pushes people to think very unreasonable and still claim to be wise. Lack of fear of God is the reason why people do and say anything they fill like, against God. They’re quick to blame God for their misfortunes and tragedies. They question His power and existence just because He couldn’t show up in their times of trouble. It bleeds my heart that, Satan has cast the cloak of ignorance in the hearts of men, that, mortals could arrogantly question the doings of the immortal God. A mortal man making jest of an immortal God. My dear, when a mortal man decides to make jest of an immortal God, he has lost his sense of reasoning and sanity. Beloved, learn to fear God. Never follow or patronise the ignorance of those who have no fear of God. Rather, reproof them and pray for the light of the gospel of Christ to shine into their hearts. We shouldn’t forget to pray for anyone who lacks the fear of God that their understanding be changed. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Through whom we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of God’s glory. Romans 5:2

LISTEN : Jesus Christ is our access to God. Our faith in Him brings us to God’s family and eventually to His kingdom. Jesus is the way, and anyone who misses Him misses the way. My dear, you need Jesus Christ. You don’t need anything to enjoy the grace of God, all you need is faith in Christ Jesus. Faith in Christ Jesus gives you access to God’s grace; as lack of faith will shut you out of His presence. Beloved, faith is important to your relationship with God. You can never have a relationship with God without faith. This means that, if you are empty of faith you can’t have access to God. You must learn to believe what God says about you, and to trust that He is able to do all He says He will do (Hebrews 11:6). Beloved, the grace of God is available today, but it must be received by faith. Your faith in Christ Jesus will give you access to the same grace that all believers in Christ have. So, have faith in Christ Jesus, because faith in Him will give you access into the presence of God. Be wise!

Prayer : Blessed Father, I thank you for your words today. Help me to put my trust in you always, in Jesus’ name, amen!
