Verse Of The Day : I repeat, be strong and brave! Don’t be afraid and don’t panic, for I, the LORD your God, am with you in all you do. Joshua 1:9 (NET)
LISTEN : When Joshua took over the mantle of leadership from Moses. Just after the death of Moses God repeatedly asked Joshua to be strong and courageous (Joshua 1:6-9). He asked him not to be afraid or panic in the face of troubles. And assured him of His presence wherever he goes. God knows that, Joshua was going to face diverse people and situations that would threaten his peace of mind. Hence, he encouraged him to be strong and brave. My dear, no matter your purpose in life, you’re bound to face obstacles. And when you lack the strength and courage to advance with your purpose in spite of obstacles, then you’ve chosen to stop making progress. As a matter of fact, life can’t be worthwhile if you’re not prepared to begin and move forward with courage and faith. But how can you be strong and courageous when there’s nothing to strengthen your heart and encourage you to proceed no matter the circumstance. Here, the strength and courage of Joshua is in the ever presence of God. The Bible says, “… for I, the LORD your God, am with you in all you do.” (Joshua 1:9 NET). Beloved, to sustain your courage you must believe that, God is with you everywhere you go. Whether pleasant or unpleasant places God will be with those who believe in Him. Yes, God can go everywhere with you when you go everywhere for Him. And when you’re in His assignments, His presence is guaranteed. So, no matter what, always proceed with courage and faith. Be wise!

TOPIC: WISDOM IS WONDERFUL
Bible Verse : A person is praised in accordance with his wisdom, but the one who has a twisted mind is despised. Proverbs 12:8
LISTEN : True wisdom is key to honour, favour and life. Wisdom is wonderful, and it is the beauty of life. What is wisdom? Wisdom is simply a good sense or judgment : the right application of knowledge. Wisdom is very key to life. Life without wisdom is empty of purpose and directions; and life without purpose lacks meaning. Wisdom brings honour, and lack of it brings disgrace. One’s level of wisdom will determine how far one will go in life. It will determine the kind of people that will be willing to associate with you. Wisdom brings success, and everyone wants to identify with success. No one wants to be part of failure. Yet, a lot of people are not doing enough to get wisdom. The Bible says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all your getting get understanding.” (Proverbs 4:7). True wisdom comes from God, hence, to get it you must have God. Wisdom is wrapped in the word of God, therefore, to walk in God’s wisdom you must deep yourself in God’s word. The deeper you go into the words of God the wiser you become. (Psalms 119:100). Wisdom keeps you from a crooked lifestyle and reckless use of your tongue. Beloved, you can’t be ungodly or irrelevant when you walk in true wisdom. So, pursue wisdom and honour will pursue you ; despise it and you’ll be despised. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear Lord, help me to grow in wisdom always, in Jesus’ name, amen.
