Verse Of The Day : Fear you not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yea, I will help you; yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

LISTEN : God takes over our burdens and battles when we put our trust in Him. (1 Peter 5:7). He knows those who belong to Him and therefore can’t forsake them. (2 Timothy 2:19). Sometimes we tend to think or react as though God has forsaken us; but the truth remains that God can’t forsake His own. No matter the circumstance, God will intervene in due time. My dear, don’t despair, instead, exercise your faith in God. Why are you depressed? Why do you choose to worry instead of exercising your faith in God? Do you think God has abandoned you? Cheer up! Our redeemer lives. Couple of months ago I told the story of an innocent man who was falsely accused of murder, and was arrested and detained by the police. All attempts to bail him out of police custody failed. The last visit to the police by his concerned relatives was a heartbreaking experience. But before they left, They requested to see him. As they sighted him coming out from police cell, they burst into tears and said, “We have tried all we could but nothing is working, they’re determined to send you to jail for the rest of your life.” The man smiled and said, “Don’t worry, they can only succeed with that if God endorsed it. Go home my people and don’t panic for I am not alone.” After several years of trial in court, the evidence that vindicated him emerged and he was discharged and acquitted. Beloved, you’re not forsaken. You may be passing through a trying moment, but believe me, God will surely manifest His power. So cheer up and never give room for defeat. Be wise!

Having read today’s devotional, what is expected of you?
1. Stop worrying about your situation and start trusting God.
2. No matter the circumstances never give up, instead, be strong and courageous.
3. Don’t be heartbroken when people disappoint you, instead, carry your disappointment to God.

Quote : “You can’t see God with the eyes and heart of fear. And until faith grows in the heart pressure will keep building up in the mind.”

Faith Confession : In Jesus’ name, I confess that God is faithful and a fortress in times of troubles. Therefore, I will trust Him with my problems, amen.

Bible Verse : Therefore watch, for you do not know either the day or the hour in which the Son of man comes. Mathew 25:13

LISTEN: A fool will take the message of Christ’s second coming as a fairy tale (2 Peter 3:3-11). The second coming of Jesus Christ to the world will shock the people of the earth. His coming will be a mixture of joy and sorrow. Joy to God’s children, and sorrow to the unfaithful and wicked (Daniel 12:1,2). His second coming will break the hearts of many, but put smiles in the faces of those who faithfully served God. Beloved, Jesus Christ will certainly return to judge the wicked world (Acts 17:30,31). He’ll judge the world in righteousness. Those who receive Him will not be condemned, but those who reject Him are condemned already. Beloved, are you prepared for His return? Do you know that He’ll come to the world unannounced? Our Bible verse says, “Therefore watch, for you do not know either the day or the hour in which the Son of man comes.” (Mathew 25:13). Beloved, our duty is to watch and wait for His return. We should guard against temptation by watching our actions, activities, conducts, evil trends, etc. We should be careful not to follow the world’s way of corruption and sin. We should guard against anything that’ll keep us from eternal life. My dear, be watchful; because he who misses eternal life will be doomed forever. Remember, Jesus Christ is coming soon. Be wise!

Prayer : Mighty God, your Son Jesus Christ died to save us. Therefore, help me to prepare for his second coming, amen.
