Verse Of The Day : You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble; you shall compass me about with songs of deliverance. Psalms 32:7
LISTEN : We’re vulnerable without God no matter our source of security (Psalms 127:1). If you can’t hide yourself in God you can never be hidden from the devil. Yes, not to hide yourself in God is to hand yourself over to Satan. My dear, you must make God your secret place. David called God a hiding place in times of troubles. Truly, He is a hiding place for those who believe in Him. Beloved, I don’t know what God is to you. For me, He is a hiding place and comfort in times of troubles and always. My dear, is God your hiding place? If He is, you’ll put your trust in Him. In our verse of the day David says, “You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble; you shall compass me about with songs of deliverance.” (Psalms 32:7). What does that mean? It means that you’re secured when you run to God for protection. You’ll receive uncommon strength to fight and overcome your fears. With God you can triumph over your ‘enemies’ and still stay strong after the battle. Surely, when troubles swoop in to destroy you, God will swoop in to deliver you. The Lord’s deliverance comes to put a song in your mouth. When you have faith in God, He’ll decorate you with songs of deliverance. This represents your joy in victory. Yes, you can’t be defeated by enemies if you’ve surrendered yourself to God. God will compass you about with songs of victory when you hide yourself in Him; for He who makes God his hiding place is firmly hidden in Him. Beloved, make God your hiding place and He’ll put a new song in your mouth. Remember, not to hide yourself in God is to hand yourself over to Satan. Be wise!

TOPIC: YOU CAN’T DO WITHOUT PRAYER

Bible Verse: Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice. Psalms 55:17
LISTEN : Be active in prayer. Prayer is necessary because we’re fighting unseen forces. Besides, God is a Spirit, therefore, to commune with Him we must take prayer seriously. No one can survive without oxygen. In the same way, we’ll die spiritually if we disconnect ourselves from God. Our spiritual energy can be sustained when we breath the fresh air of prayer. When we communicate with God, we will discover His will and be delivered from our troubles. When prayer is genuinely made to God, answers can be expected. God never fails to deliver on His promises. He does exactly what He says He’ll do.(Numbers 23:19). Though, troubles may force us to think that God has forsaken us; but if we can pray in faith, we’ll surely overcome our problems. Beloved, God answers prayer if we pray in faith. (Jeremiah 33:3). When prayer becomes important to you God will certainly hear you. So, you must learn to persist in prayer; that is, to pray without ceasing. Those who will prevail with God are those who through faith will persist in prayer. David said, “Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice.” (Psalms 55:17). David refused to give up praying no matter his situation. He prayed until he received.(Psalms18:6). He wasn’t bothered about God’s delay in answering his prayer, instead, he was strong in faith knowing that God will surely answer him. Friend, are you tired of praying? Please wake up and persist in prayer! Pray fervently until you receive. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear Lord, I thank you because you answer prayers. Therefore, I will always offer my prayers to you in Jesus’ name.
