Verse Of The Day : The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped… Psalms 28:7

LISTEN : My dear, trust in God and He’ll help you. Few months ago I told a story about a woman who was married to a poor, but hardworking man, who woke up one morning and walked straight to her husband and asked tearfully, “Dear, when will all these be over? How long are we going to go through this misery?” “Everything is under control.” Replied her husband. “Under control?” The woman screams. “Yes, under control. Everything is under God’s control.” replied the husband yet again. The woman believes her husband. Few months later, her husband was gainfully employed and their misery was removed. Beloved, how would you feel when a situation you thought you could handle gets out of control? How would you feel when a disease or ailment you thought could be addressed by a professional medical doctor turned out to have no medical solutions? How would you feel when everything about you seem hopeless? I know you’ll feel sad and disappointed. Why? Because you believe that everything is out of your control. Surely, in this life there’re many factors outside your control, but they’re all under God’s control. All you need to do is trust in Him and watch Him help you. Nothing can be out of control when God is in charge (Mark 4:37-39). No matter the circumstance, if you do the right thing and follow God’s will, weeping may last for a night, but joy will surely come in the morning (Psalms 30:5). So, no matter the situation, don’t take your eyes off God. Instead, trust Him and He’ll help you. Be wise!

Having read today’s devotional, what is expected of you?
1. Trust in God and you’ll not be put to shame.
2. When things are out of your control, never forget that they’re under God’s control.
3. Never give up on life, rather be focused and press on until you break through.
4. Follow God’s timetable for your life and you’ll not end up frustrated.

Prayer : Almighty God, I thank you because everything is under your control. Therefore, I give all my worries to you, amen.

Reflection : God brings things that are out of our control under His control.

Quote : “Faith triggers divine intervention. For God will help he who trusts in Him.”

Faith Confession : Today, I acknowledged that everything is under God’s control. Therefore, I will drop my worries at His feet, amen.

Biblical Fact : Did you know the dead bones of Prophet Elisha brought up a dead man back to life? (2Kings 13:21).

Today In History : Did you know Enoch was the father of Methuselah? (Genesis 5:21-22).

Stunning Fact : Did you know Albert Einstein never knew how to drive a car?

A Word Of Blessing : It’s well with you. May whatever that is out of control in your life be brought under control, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Bible Verse : Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. Psalms 119:105

LISTEN : God’s word guides the wise. It leads him to where God wants him to go, and shows him what He wants him to do. The word of God is the carrier of His voice, and His voice expresses His will. Those who hear and obey the words of God can never miss their way. God’s word is the light that shines in our paths. It’s the light with which we can see the right path in this wicked world. Without the light of His words we are limited. Truly, speed is limited when sight is impaired. Without sight, one will stumble and grope for directions. (Mathew 6:23). Beloved, what good sight is to you, God’s word is to your life. God’s word guides people through the right path. It’s the key to a righteous and holy living. Those who keep step with the word of God can’t stray from God’s purpose. They’re protected from dangers and traps of the devil. Their thoughts are weighed and refined by the word of God; as a result, their actions are in line with His will. They’re not limited by forces of darkness because they receive light (insight, direction, revelation, knowledge understanding and wisdom) from the word of God. (Psalms 119:99,100). With God’s word in your heart, you’re sure to follow His eternal purpose for your life. Beloved, follow the voice of God. God’s voice is hidden in His words. When you follow His voice you’ll discover His will and experience real life. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear Lord, guide me to follow your will always, in Jesus’ name, amen.
