Verse Of The Day : It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. Lamentations 3:26

LISTEN : People tend to lose hope when they can’t see a way out of their predicaments. In some severe cases, people take their lives just to ‘end their misery’, not knowing that, they’re compounding it. My dear, no matter the pressure, never lose hope (Job 14:1,14). Fix your eyes on God by faith. Without faith it’s impossible to hold on to God when your world comes crashing down. As a matter of fact, faith will make you to consistently fix your eyes on God when your problems try to push you away from God. Yes, you could drown yourself in the ocean of frustration and hopelessness when your eyes are off God. Beloved, no matter the pressure you’re going through, always put your trust in the living God. Remember that God lives, and you’ll not be doomed. No matter what, you should learn to hope in God. Our verse of the day says, “It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.” (Lamentations 3:26). So, stay hopeful. Hope doesn’t disappoint. Hence, you must determine to keep your hope alive. Yes, your future is your responsibility, and you can’t walk to the future with fear and hopelessness. Determine to protect your hope, for when your hope dies, you have murdered your future with your own hand. My dear, be strong! It’s not yet over with you. So, never lose hope, instead, be hopeful and wait on God to bless the works your hand. Be wise!

Bible Verse : If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 1 Corinthians 15:19

LISTEN: It’s the height of foolishness to live just for this present life. We need wisdom to know that, there’s life after death, and we should prepare for it. As Christians, our hope is beyond this present life. This world is passing away, hence, to live just for this present life is to be eternally miserable. Extreme pain, distress and woe await those who reject God. My dear, as believers in Christ Jesus we should hope in God beyond this life. We should believe Him beyond our quest for healing, miracle, job, marriage, childbirth, health, finance, etc. As people who have eternity in view, we should cease to live so ungodly, or act wickedly towards others. We should embrace the fear of God, and have respect for human lives. We should not allow the so-called pleasures of this life take the place of God in our hearts. We should not give up on Christ or deny Him in the face of tribulations, persecution and trials. Beloved, we should not limit our hope in Christ just to this present life. The Bible says, “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable ”(1Cor. 15:19). My dear, when you live just for what the world can offer, surely, you will be miserable hereafter. So, be careful how you live; because, if your life is not lived for God, you have lived in vain. Be wise!

Prayer : Everlasting Father, my hope is in you. Help me to live with eternity in view, amen!
