Verse Of The Day: The one who stiffens his neck after numerous rebukes will suddenly be destroyed without remedy. Proverbs 29:1

LISTEN: Life is a choice, and death is equally a choice. Nobody lives if he or she chooses to die. There are many things to do to take one’s life. In the same way, when we choose to disobey God we have chosen the path of death. Yes, when you harden your heart against God you have chosen the wrong path. Hardening your heart against God is terribly bad and amounts to self-destruction. When your heart is hardened against God, destruction has become inevitable. (Proverbs 29:1). My dear, God doesn’t want anyone to be destroyed, rather, He wants all to be saved. That’s why He gave up His son Jesus Christ to save us. However, the choice to be saved lies with you. God has shown us how to live. Therefore, if we live outside His will, it’s because we choose to live like that. The Bible says, “Will the LORD accept a thousand rams, or ten thousand streams of olive oil? Should I give him my firstborn child as payment for my rebellion, my offspring – my own flesh and blood – for my sin? He has told you, O man, what is good, and what the LORD really wants from you: He wants you to promote justice, to be faithful, and to live obediently before your God.” (Micah 6:7-8). Beloved, don’t grieve God or provoke Him to anger with your lifestyle. Instead, Obey and honour Him to be saved. Henceforth, mind how you live and determine to live to the glory of God. Be wise!

Bible Verse : You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

LISTEN : You can find God if you search for Him with all your heart. He wants us to seek and serve Him with all our strength and all we have. The truth is, sin disconnects us from God and we need to be reconnected to Him. My dear, you can’t find God until you search for Him with all your heart. God is closer to us than we think, but can’t be seen or found until we’re ready to search for Him with passion. A lot of us regularly feel the absence of God around us because we’re not conscious of Him. We haven’t searched for Him with the whole of our hearts, therefore, can’t encounter Him. God searches every heart and He knows those who are serious with Him. God is a great God. Therefore, if you must discover Him, you must search for Him with the whole of your heart. Anything short of that, you’ll remain a stranger to Him and His power. My dear, don’t give up efforts to know God; instead, continue to search for Him until you find Him right at the centre of your life. Be wise!

Prayer : Heavenly Father, I thank you for your love for me. Help me to seek and serve you with all my heart, in Jesus’ name, amen.
