Verse Of The Day : For in fact the body is not a single member, but many. 1 Corinthians 12:14
LISTEN : Everyone can’t be you. We’re created differently to fulfill different purposes to the glory of God. So, don’t undermine the uniqueness of others. Few months ago, I told a story about a little boy who returns from school one afternoon, and asks his father a very funny question. He said, “Dad, why are my classmates not thinking and acting like me? They’re very dull. I hate them!” His father smiles and said, “Son, everyone else can’t be you. People are created in unique ways. There’re things they know that you don’t know. Son, never try to make everyone else exactly like you. Make sure you appreciate each person’s uniqueness.” The little boy frowns and walks away. When he returns from school the next day, he smiles as he walks to his father and says, “Dad, I was very happy today in school. I was impressed with my classmates.” His father asked, “Why son? Did they do anything different from what they used to do?” His son replied, “No! Just that I have taken them for who they are.” With excitement his father hugs him and exclaims, “That’s my boy! Son, never expect everyone else to be like you. Do that and you will be happy in life.” Lots of people see others like the little boy in this story. If you don’t think and live like them you’re nothing in their eyes. They’re not considerate, very arrogant, and always wise in their own eyes. They fail to realise that God created everyone in some unique ways. (Romans 12:6-8). My dear, everyone else can’t be you. As a matter of fact, life will be so frustrating trying to make everyone else just like you. So, allow others to express their unique nature to complement yours. Be wise!

Bible Verse : For we live by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7
LISTEN: My dear, protect your faith. Don’t allow fear to rule or ruin your life. Remember, you’ll fail or succeed by what controls your mind. Life is a “battle field; ” as a result, everyday casualty is recorded. Hence, God is urging you to have faith, so that He will assist you in these battles of life. When Satan comes, he comes to kill, steal and destroy. (John 10:10). His intention is to leave you miserable and heartbroken. But I have good news for you, it is not yet over with you, God is still working for you behind the scenes; and the raging battles of your life will soon be over as you call on God for intervention. (Psalms 18:3). Beloved, you’re not alone. God is with you. He will revive and refresh you with abundant life when the battle is over. My dear, be strong and learn to live by faith, not by sight. (2 Cor.5:7). To live by faith is to anchor your hope in God. It’s to believe God for the impossible (Luke 1:37). Besides, it means to believe that whatever you’re going through will soon be over. Henceforth, don’t be distracted by those bad things happening in your life currently, instead, trust in the LORD and you’ll certainly receive divine intervention. So, no matter what, don’t lose your faith, instead, protect it with all you’ve got. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear Lord, you’re the Almighty God. Help me to grow in faith and protect it, in Jesus name, amen.
