Verse Of The Day: And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, care you not that we perish? Mark 4:38
LISTEN: It’s difficult to believe that God is with you when your world is falling apart before your very eyes. When your health fails and your prayer goes unanswered, you will be tempted to ask, “Is God truly with me?” “Does He care about my troubles?” “If He does, why has my situation not changed?” “Does He not know that my condition is getting worse?” My dear, God knows exactly how you feel. He understands your pressure and will surely rise up to defend you. Just hold on to your faith. No doubt, when faced with troubles and precarious situations it is hard to believe that God knows about our troubles and cares about us. But the truth is, the silence of God doesn’t mean He has neglected or abandoned you. His delay doesn’t also mean denial. Whatever happens in your journey with God is for your good. He has everything planned out in His calendar. And He can’t permit any situation that won’t end in your advantage. So, stop being afraid. When walking with Jesus Christ, you’re not permitted to live in fear. Yes, fear makes us blind to the presence of God even when He is closer to us. It causes us to think as though God doesn’t care about our pain and troubles. Fear gives the impression that we’re helpless. Exactly the same way Jesus Christ’s disciples felt when they were attacked by a storm in the sea. They thought they were going to die but they didn’t (Mark 4:37-40). My dear, it’s going to be fine because Jesus is in your boat. It’s impossible for you to perish when you travel in the same boat with Jesus Christ. So cheer up, for God is not done with you. Beloved, don’t lose your faith even when it looks like God is far from you. Be wise!

Bible Verse : The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. Psalms 145:9
LISTEN : God’s goodness is for all generations. His mercy speaks of His love and faithfulness. God is truly good. Yes, everything good we enjoy can be traceable to the goodness of God. The air we breath, the water we drink, the food we eat, etc., are the goodness of God. Beloved, God is truly good to all His creation. He is kind and compassionate toward us; He is disposed and ready to do us good at all times. He is the life of all. Without Him you have no life (Acts 17:25). There is not one of us whom He is not ready and willing to bless; or whose welfare He is not ready to promote. His goodness is to all (both the good and the bad). The Bible says, “And his tender mercies are over all his works” (Psalms 145:9). That is, in all that He has made, there’s evidence that He is a kind and benevolent God. He has a heart to love and to bless what He has made (see Matt 5:45). He is gracious. He is not disposed to cast off the weak, the erring, and the suffering. He is willing to pardon, receive and restore the repentant, and to wipe away the tears of the brokenhearted. God’s goodness and mercy are ultimately demonstrated in Jesus Christ who tasted death for every man. His grace for every soul is free. Beloved, no matter what happens, think of what God has done for you, and you will agree and declare that God is good to all. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear Lord, I thank you because your goodness is for all generations, amen.
