Verse Of The Day : I look up toward the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, the Creator of heaven and earth! Psalms 121:1-2
LISTEN : When people fail you, run to God. When everyone else abandons you, run to Him. It hurts when no one offers to help you in times of troubles though, but God is willing to help you. My dear, when friends, relatives and acquaintances abandon you, put your trust in God. God still cares about you. Therefore, no matter what happens, your eyes should be on Him. He never disappoints anyone who hopes on Him. My dear, it’s important to put your trust in God, because, those who fixed their eyes on God by faith will conquer their fears and worries (Isaiah 56:11); overcome discouragement and depression (Isaiah 41:10) , get revived (Isaiah 40:31), receive divine assistance, and obtain victory over enemies (Psalms 144:1). So, when people fail you, seek God’s help. David said, “I look up toward the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, the Creator of heaven and earth!” (Psalms 121:1-2). My dear, seek the help of God. Seek His presence, exercise faith in Him and offer your prayers to Him. He answers prayers, yes, he does! Therefore, carry your concerns and questions to Him. He has answers to all of them. (1Peter 5:7). He will help you through the Holy Spirit and encouragement from scriptures. God is willing to help you if you are willing to ask Him for help. But if you ignore Him, He will ignore you. So, seek the help of God and human’s disappointments will not break your heart anymore. Remember, when people fail you, put your trust in God; for God is the source, and man is just the resources God uses to bless people. Be wise!

TOPIC : ANSWER THE CALL AND DO THE WORK
Wednesday, October 9, 2019
Bible Verse : And he says unto them follow me and I will make you fishers of men Matt 4:19
LISTEN : My dear, answer the call and do the work God has given you to do. Beloved, have you abandoned your God-given assignment? Have you forgotten you are called to save the lost for Christ. Yes, we are called to proclaim the good news of the kingdom. As Jesus Christ begins His earthly ministry shortly after He ended his forty days fast in the wilderness. He encountered two brothers at the sea of Galilee, Simon called Peter and Andrew his brother as they were doing their normal fishing business, for they were fishermen. He said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men” (v.19). Beloved, Jesus called them so He could train them in winning souls to the kingdom of God. Upon hearing Him, they left all and followed Him. Jesus transformed them into useful instruments for the kingdom of God. He made them both earthly and heavenly useful. He changed them from fishermen to passionate soul winners. My dear, are you a Christian (a believer in Jesus Christ)? As a follower of Jesus Christ, have you won a soul to Him? If not, what are you waiting for? Do you know you are called to spread the gospel of the kingdom of God? So, be serious in the service of God for your reward awaits you at His coming. (Hebrews 6:10). So, remember to answer the call and do the work that you’re called to do. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear Lord, help me to answer your call and do the work you’ve called me to do, amen.
