Verse Of The Day : He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great. Psalms 115:13
LISTEN : God blesses those who love and fear Him. Age, race, colour, and whatever background are not obstacles to His blessings. If there’s love and fear for Him, He can bless. My dear, no matter the pain and sorrow facing you today. If you can’t compromise on your love and fear for God, He won’t allow you to end as a failure (Romans 10:11). Few months ago, I told a story about a certain slave boy whose family had been enslaved since he was five years old. One day he asked his father, “Father, what is wrong with us? Why are we treated this way by others? When will this suffering be over? Can’t there be a solution to our misery?” His father smiled and said, “Son, all will soon be over. Nothing is impossible to God who created the heaven and the earth. With Him, no one is too young or old to be blessed. No one is too enslaved to be freed. Because we fear God, one day, we shall be free and blessed.” The following year the family was eventually set free and favoured by their slavemaster in many ways as compensation for their years of servitude. My dear, love and fear of God matter to Him. God can’t abandon those who fear Him. In the Bible, Abraham honoured and obeyed God and was blessed for his obedience and faith in God. (Genesis 24:1). God rewarded his years of faithfulness and obedience to Him. My dear, God can bless anyone including you. So, position yourself for the blessings of God. Remember, we are positioned for God’s blessings when we walk in fear, faith and obedience to Him. Henceforth, determine to walk in obedience to God and you’ll attract His blessings. Be wise!

Bible Verse : But the one who hates his fellow Christian is in the darkness, walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. 1John 2:11
LISTEN : As Christians, we are of God. We are God’s chosen generation. However, we can’t appreciate this fact until we put on the nature of God. My dear, love is the nature of God (1 John 4:8). We can’t walk in love at the same time hate one another. It’s abominable. Besides, we can’t claim to worship God if there’s no love for Him and humanity (1John 4:20,21). Love for humanity, especially those who are of the household of faith (fellow believers in Christ) ) is pleasing to God. We should love others dearly and unconditionally. That is, we should show interest in the well-being of others and make sacrifices for them no matter what. That is the nature of God. God is love and does everything in love. Therefore, once we have received His love as His children, He expects us to love others just the same way He loves us. My dear, our claim of piety is in vain if love is missing in our lives. The Bible says, “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love” (1 John 4:8). This means that, not to love others is not to love God. When you refuse to love others even after embracing Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, then you don’t belong to God. You’re still in the darkness and your eyes are blinded. Beloved, open your eyes to the light of the gospel of truth and you’ll live. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear Lord, help me to understand that I belong to you, amen.
