Verse Of The Day: Merry heart does good like a medicine: but a broken spirit dries the bones. Proverbs 17:22

LISTEN: No doubt, the troubles of life are numerous. But we should learn to take life easy. Let’s not keep worrying ourselves and weigh down ourselves and be denied the chance to be happy, healthy and lively. Having a joyful heart plays a vital role in our entire well-being. But when we allow heaviness to dominate our hearts, the sweetness of life will surely evaporate. My dear, no matter what you face, you should encourage yourself and be happy. Help yourself by staying joyful in every situation; for no help can be enough which is not supported by help from within you. So, take it easy on yourself. I may not know the weight of your pain and sorrow right now, but God knows entirely about your problems. So, don’t be hard on yourself, rather cast your burden on God for He really cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Jesus Christ said to His audience, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28). My dear, Why are you struggling under your burdens alone? Won’t you come to Jesus Christ by faith today and quit worrying about your problems? Beloved, remember that, God hasn’t given up on you. Therefore, be happy always no matter what. Be wise!

Having read today’s devotional, what is expected of you?
1. Don’t worry yourself, for your case is not the worst. Instead, trust in God.
2. Never give up on life, rather remember that God won’t give up on you.
3. Determine to be joyful in all situations no matter what.
4. Commit your problems to God and believe that He knows and cares about you.

Faith Confession : In Jesus’ name, I confess that a joyful heart does good like medicine. Therefore, I will be happy and positive-minded no matter what, amen

Bible Verse : And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. Mark 1:35

LISTEN : It’s really good to spend time with God in prayers. My dear, time spent with God is not a wasted time. Spending time with God should be our utmost desire. Sadly, lots of people don’t care about spending quality time with God. They don’t have time to commune with Him in prayer, personal bible study, meditation, etc. They have no regard for the will of God. They have little or no time for Him. They seem to have forgotten that we are humans? And that we are created by God to serve His purpose? Beloved, no matter how busy you are, always have time for God. Jesus Christ, while He was on the earth, worked round the clock (Acts 10:38), yet, had quality time with God (His Father) in prayer. (Mark 1:35). My dear, never neglect to have time with God no matter what. Time with God will shape your future, correct your behaviour, direct your steps, give you access to God, give your life a meaning and save your soul from eternal destruction. Be wise!

Prayer : Everlasting Father, help me to spend time with you in prayer as long as I live, amen.
