Verse Of The Day: For you have armed me with strength for the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me. 2 Samuel 22:40
LISTEN: God is a man of war and trains up His children as warriors. He equips them with strength. He who walks with God will be blessed with strength for exploit, for the sons and daughters of the Lion of the tribe of Judah can’t be anything less than ‘the Lion of Judah.’ Those who belong to God are armed with strength for battles of life. My dear, are you faced with trials? Are you afraid you might lose your peace of mind and perhaps your life? Are you confused about what else to do? Are you asking in frustration when all of that will be over? My dear, relax! You can overcome your fears by placing your hope in God when you consistently grow your faith in Him. When you trust in God, He will arm you with supernatural strength to make it through the storm. Though, I may not really know what you are going through right now, but I have a God who knows and wants to help you.
But you must acknowledge Him as your Saviour and source of strength. In our verse of the day, David acknowledged and revered God as his deliverer, stronghold and source of strength. (2 Samuel 22:40). He acknowledged and praised God as the hand behind his victory over all his enemies, including King Saul. (2 Samuel 22:3). David made it through the storm because his hope was in the living God. In spite of his trials and afflictions, he could boldly say, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me.” (Psalms 23:4). Beloved, don’t be afraid, instead, put your hope in God and you will make it through the storm of your life. When God is your strength, nothing can be stronger than you. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Wicked people earn deceitful wages, but one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward. Proverbs 11:18
LISTEN : Wickedness produces sorrow and death in the end, just the same way righteousness will produce joy and life. God will reward the righteous for their labour, and punish the wicked for their evil works. The Bible says, “Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” (Galatians 6:7). Wickedness will produce evil and death to the wicked ; and good works will return a righteous reward to the upright. (Isaiah 3:10-11). No matter what the wicked gains by way of wickedness he will surely lose all, because God’s judgment will caught up with him. Just as God will punish the wicked person for his or her evil, He will also bless the upright for his faith and obedience to Him. No matter how long it takes, the righteous in Christ Jesus will not lose their reward. They Will certainly be amply rewarded. Serving God and living in accordance with His will is the guarantee for a sure reward. Beloved, do you want to be rewarded for your services to God and humanity? Do you desire the blessings of God that comes without sorrow (Proverbs 10:22)? Then, obey His words and have faith in Him. Don’t be influenced by the wickedness of men, instead, let God’s words be your guide and principle. Surely, a good reward awaits you soon. So, avoid wickedness because it will produce sorrow in the end. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear Lord, help me to overcome the desire to do evil as long as I live, in Jesus’ name, amen!
