Verse Of The Day : that the genuineness of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:7
LISTEN : Each time I imagine the trials of Job, I see a man whose faith in God is too real to fail. I see a man who is prepared to die than offend his God. I see a man whose relationship with God is worth the suffering. Yes, I see a man who is ready to endure pain if that is what is needed to please God and maintain his integrity. I see a man whose faith and patience secured a better future for. Job was not a pretender; he was not willing to compromise his faith and integrity. He was prepared to die for righteousness sake. And God was pleased with his faith and patience, and therefore, blessed him beyond measures (Job 42:12-17). My dear, your faith will determine how far you will go with God. It is not possible to walk with God if you are empty of faith. Faith connects you to God and gives you victory over battles of life. The genuineness of your faith is vital to your victory in battles of life. Beloved, you have no business with God if you are bankrupt of faith. We don’t pretend faith, we live faith. So, no matter the circumstance, we shouldn’t collapse under pressure due to lack of faith. Instead, we should emerge from each difficulty better for the experience. However, to emerge from each difficulty better and stronger, you must do the following :
* Have Genuine Faith In God – don’t pretend your faith in God, rather be genuine with it. Genuine faith attracts divine rewards and brings about blessings, praise, glory and honour.
* Endure The Test Of Faith – always endure the test of your faith. For if your faith can’t be tested, you can’t be trusted. God can’t invest in you until He has fully tested you. So, like Job, endure the test of faith.
* Secure A Future With Your Faith – what you overcome secures a future for you. Your faith in God is your greatest asset to a blessed future. If you lose your faith you have lost your future. Remember, the just shall live by faith. Be wise!

TOPIC : DON’T IGNORE SIN
Monday, July 1, 2019
Bible Verse : If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
LISTEN : Sin is not a light thing; it is dangerous, so, don’t ignore it. Deal with it before it deals with you. Sin is a sure way to losing one’s peace and joy. The Bible says, “There is no peace, says the LORD, unto the wicked.” (Isaiah 48:22). The wicked is a stranger to the peace of God because his mind will remain unsettled and restless. The wicked is a slave to conscience and emotional torture. He will lose his sleep when he should be sleeping and resting. He will lose tranquility when others are at peace with themselves. Surely, he will experience endless war within and without until he returns to God in repentance. That is why we are enjoined by the word of God to hate sin and love righteousness. The Bible says, “Hate what is wrong, love what is right! Promote justice at the city gate! Maybe the LORD, the God who commands armies, will have mercy on those who are left from Joseph.” (Amos 5:15). My dear, confess your sin and you will receive mercy.
Prayer : Everlasting Father, I thank you for your Word. Help me to deal with sin in my life, in Jesus’ name, amen!
