Verse Of The Day : The one who is greedy for gain troubles his household, but whoever hates bribes will live. Proverbs 15:27

LISTEN : Greed is like cancer, it comes with devastating effects. Greed pollute the soul and corrupt goodness. What is greed? The dictionary defines greed as a selfish or excessive desire for more than is needed or deserved, especially of money, wealth, food, or other possessions. Greed is evil and comes with severe consequences. It is not possible to be greedy and remain innocent. For a greedy person will trample on the rights and privileges of others and can kill just to amass wealth. Beloved, when you are guilty of greed, the wrath of God is imminent if you don’t retrace your steps. Greed brings a curse on one’s life and household (Joshua 7:20-26). As a matter of fact, the consequences of greed affect both the greedy person and his or her own household. Beware of greed and bribery because they bring judgment on you and yours. When you rob others of their rights and privileges just to enrich yourself, you are the enemy of your own life and household. It is so sad that, greed is growing rapidly these days. The spirit of greed has found its way to the lives of many people and making them blind to morality and godliness. Because of greed, the voice of reason and conscience are sounding fainter and fainter today. Consciences are dead and inordinate quest for wealth has become a way of life. Everyone seems to be after what they can grab, and not after who they can impact. The inordinate quest for wealth has made a lot of people to attach little or no value to morality and the fear of God. My dear, avoid greed. The gains of greed may taste sweet in the beginning, but in the end it will turn bitter (Proverbs 20:17). Be wise!

Bible Verse :Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God. Philippians 4:6 (NET).

LISTEN : My dear, worry not, rather pray more. Learn to give quality time to prayer and none to worry. Ask God for what you want and have faith in Him to answer you at the right time (Matthew 7:7-8). Refuse to be depressed no matter what. Beloved, you can overcome depression. To overcome depression, time should be given to prayer and not to worry and anxiety. Always be positive and share your problems with anyone who feels your pain. Above all, tell your problems to God. It is better to tell God about what you are going through than to trouble your heart worrying about what might happen. God’s word warns us not to worry about our troubles, but rather commit them to God in prayer and thanksgiving. My dear, that is what you should do. So, pray and keep praying. Learn to ask in prayer and you will receive your desires.

Prayer : Precious Father, I know that we are living in a wicked world, full of trials and afflictions. Therefore, help me to call to you in prayer always, in Jesus’ name, amen!
