Verse Of The Day : For you, O God, have put us to the test: testing us by fire like silver. Psalms 66:10 (BBE)

LISTEN : God chose the Israelites from ‘the furnace of fire.’ He refined them like silver and gold through the furnace of suffering. He allowed them to go through hell in different places to be able to certify them as His own special people. Before the Israelites went to Egypt and later became slaves, God already told Abraham what his descendants yet unborn would go through in a strange land. And also promised to bring them out of slavery with great favour after He has punished their oppressors (Genesis 15:13-14). As a matter of fact, it wasn’t going to be easy for them, but God promised to be with them and bless them eventually. But before the blessings, they must pay the price. Anyone of them who is not willing to pay the price should not expect the blessings. In the Bible we saw how those of them who refused to obey and put their trust in God ended. But those who obeyed Him won the battle and entered Canaan. My dear, same thing applies to us. To win, you have to pay the price. A prize is not made for anyone who can’t pay the price. A huge prize comes with a huge price. So, never expect a prize if you are not prepared to pay the price. To win, you have to pay the price! No one wins great victories without paying the price. My dear, I know you have a purpose or purposes you want to achieve in life. Are you now quitting your quest for success because there are obstacles everywhere? Are you afraid to pay the price? Beloved, don’t stop! Confront your obstacles head-on. I assure you that, you will win if you are determined to pay the necessary price. Be wise!

Faith Confession : Today, I confess that, to get the prize I should pay the price. Therefore, I will pay the price to get my desired prize, amen!

Today In History : May 29, 1922 Ecuador becomes independent?

Bible Verse : Whoso keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles. Proverbs 21:23

LISTEN : My dear, talk wisely. Learn to be wise with your words. Don’t use your tongue recklessly; because those who have loosed mouths are not safe, but are vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks. Our verse of the day says, “Whoso keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles.” (Proverbs 21:23). It pays to watch one’s tongue. Sadly, too many people talk carelessly to their own destruction. They say things they cannot defend about others; things that are too high for them. They don’t know when to talk and when to keep silent. Beloved, if you can’t manage your words you can’t manage your life. If you are still struggling with the control of your tongue, then, you are breeding on dangerous waters. So, keep your mouth and you will live; let it loose and you will be doomed. (Proverbs 18:21). The choice is yours! Be wise!

Prayer : Everlasting Father, help me to guard my mouth against evil talks always, amen!
