Verse Of The Day : Therefore be very careful how you live – not as unwise but as wise, taking advantage of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15-16
LISTEN : Not all eyes can see and interpret correctly what they have seen. Some will see and not understand, while others will see and interpret every bit of what they saw. My dear, big eyes and a big head are not signs of common sense or sound judgment. A sound judgment is a function of carefulness, detailed analysis, Knowledge and the fear of God. A lot of people don’t examine or consider how they live. They live just to impress others or satisfy their own insatiable desire for evil, instead of to please God. They live without minding the consequences of their actions. My dear, how you live predicts how you are likely to end (Romans 6:23). Your actions are pointers to your future. What you do daily will determine the future you will create for yourself. My dear, live wisely and take advantage of every opportunity because people are doing extremely evil things today. Avoid evil and be careful the way you live. If you fail to live carefully and wisely, you have chosen the fate of the wicked. And the fate of the wicked is eternal rejection, separation from God and eternal death. Knowing the consequences of living unwisely and carelessly, Apostle Paul admonished the Ephesians church to be careful how they live – not as unwise but as wise, taking advantage of every opportunity, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:15-16). Beloved, don’t follow evil people, trends, fads, opinions, etc., rather, walk with the wise and godly and be determined to please God always. Be wise!

TOPIC : THE FEAR OF GOD GIVES REAL PEACE
Saturday, May 25, 2019
Bible Verse : Great peace have they which love your law: and nothing shall offend them. Psalms 119:165
LISTEN : You can’t have God and not have peace. The fear of God gives real peace. Peace is possible in Christ Jesus. Jesus said to His disciples, “I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage – I have conquered the world.” (John 16:33). The mystery behind the peace of God the believer enjoys in the midst of troubles is based on his relationship with God. He (believer) understands that all power belongs to God and therefore cannot be afraid of anything. He derives comfort and peace from the word of God. As a result, nothing can hurt or offend him. He is not afraid of bad news because his God is in control. Beloved, is your life characterised by crisis and war? Believe God and His word and you will enjoy great peace no matter the circumstance. Be wise!
Prayer : Heavenly Father, you give peace and comfort. Therefore, I ask for peace in my life today, in Jesus’ name, amen!
