Verse Of The Day : So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work. Nehemiah 4:6
LISTEN : Working together is the beauty of life. When you join your own effort with the efforts of others it will increase the effect. Nehemiah begins the work of rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem and succeeded, because he chooses to work with others who shared in his own vision (Nehemiah 4:6). Working together with people of like minds help you to save energy and time for other important projects. Besides, working together motivates us to work and to learn from one another. Beloved, you should collaborate with others to achieve your God-given purpose. You may not achieve what you should achieve if you refuse to collaborate with others. Like the human body, no system of the body can work in isolation. They are interdependent (1 Corinthians 12:14-22). They work together for the common goal of the body. My dear, to achieve success in your purpose in life, you must collaborate with others. Collaboration is like a jigsaw puzzle. Individuals can pick parts of the puzzle to work on by themselves for a while, but eventually you have to work together to complete it. As a matter of fact, refusing to collaborate with others to achieve your God-given purpose is like building an impregnable wall against yourself. He who refuses to work together with others have chosen to rob himself of external help and the opportunity to succeed and learn new things. Beloved, are you finding it difficult to work together with others? Do you think you can do all by yourself alone? Please think! Henceforth, learn to collaborate with others and you will be glad you did. Be wise!

TOPIC : IT IS DANGEROUS TO MURMUR AGAINST GOD
Friday, May 24, 2019
Bible Verse : Neither murmur all of you, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. 1 Corinthians 10:10
LISTEN : It is evil and dangerous to murmur against God. To murmur is to express grief, pain, or discontent: it is to say something that expresses annoyance or unhappiness. Murmuring against God is satanic. It is an expression of lack of faith in God. It is a way of telling God that you do not trust Him and His promises. God brought the children of Israel out of slavery in the land of Egypt, but rather than have faith in God when they were confronted with lack of water, hunger and starvation, they murmured against God and His servants, Moses and Aaron; and wished they (the Israelites) had died in the land of Egypt instead of bringing them to die in the wilderness. (Exodus 16:2-3;17:2). Besides, when some of the spies sent to explore the land of Canaan returned with evil report of the land, the congregation wept all night and doubted God’s ability to bring them to the land of promise (Canaan). God was angry with the Israelites, and the destroying angel destroyed the people involved (Numbers 14:35-37). Beloved, you are warned not to threat the same path to destruction. So, beware and be wise!
Prayer : Dear Lord, you are good and has good plans for me. Therefore, help me to be content with you and to avoid murmuring against you, amen!
