Verse Of The Day : Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. Proverbs 31:10

LISTEN : The world will be empty without women. God’s design for humanity is for humans to come to the world through them. Therefore, to undermine them is to undermine God. And to devalue them is to despise the wisdom of God. When God created Adam, He created him a complete man. Yet, something was missing in him, and can only be completed by a woman (Eve). The Bible says, “And the Lord God said, It is not good for the man to be by himself: I will make one like himself as a help to him.” (Genesis 2:18 BBE). Because Adam was alone, God made him a helper suitable for his needs. And when he (Adam) saw Eve, he recognised her as the one made for him. She was to provide help and not troubles to Adam. My dear, women are created to meet needs. When married, they are to supplement and complement their husbands efforts in life and help them to achieve God’s purpose for their lives. Sadly, not all women are pursuing this divine purpose today. The world is in shortage of virtuous (morally good, pure or decent: not sinful) women; but in full supply of immoral and indecent women. My dear, are you a woman? It pays to be a virtuous woman. You can be that priceless woman to your husband or would-be husband today. If our women choose to be virtuous today, we will have no prostitutes in our streets, no child trafficking in our borders, no broken homes as a result of divorce or separation, no child abuse, etc. Henceforth, let us value our women and also help them to value themselves too. Remember, the world is in need of priceless women. Be wise!

Having read today’s devotional, what is expected of you?
1. Learn to appreciate the gifts of God in women and respect them for who they are.
2. Don’t devalue women, rather, esteem them as God’s priceless creation.
3. Let us teach and encourage good morals and chastity among our women.
4. Determine to be a blessing to the world by encouraging our women to maintain good morals.

Prayer : Blessed Father, you created us in your own image. Therefore, help us to do what is pleasing to you, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection : He who devalues or despises women despise the wisdom of God.

Quote : “The world is crying for help, as it is now in shortage of virtuous women; but in full supply of immoral and indecent women.”

Faith Confession : Today, I confess that the world has lost the purpose of God for humanity, and therefore needs His help. Henceforth, I will seek the help of God, amen.

Biblical Fact : Did you know a gift from a wicked heart is an abomination to God? (Proverbs 21:27).

Today In History : April 8, 1939 Italy invades Albania.

Stunning Fact : Did you know the wheelbarrow is invented in China?

A Word Of Blessing : You will make a difference. Today I speak to your life, may God bless you, and cause you to fulfill His purpose for your life, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Bible Verse : Whoso keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles. Proverbs 21:23

LISTEN : Wise people watch what they say. They are careful with their words. So, be wise with your own words. Our Bible text says, “Whoso keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles.” (Proverbs 21:23). Don’t be part of the many who talk carelessly to their own destruction. Never say things about others that you can’t defend; don’t say things that are too high for you. Know when to talk and when to keep silent. The Bible warns us to guard our mouths against wrong use of words. Beloved, if you can’t manage your words you can’t manage your life. If you are still struggling with the control of your tongue, then you are breeding on dangerous waters. My dear, keep your mouth and you will live; let it loose and you will be doomed. Henceforth, let your tongue save lives and not waste them. Be wise!

Prayer : Precious Father, help me to guard my mouth and tongue always in Jesus’ name, amen.
