Verse Of The Day : Then Job answered the LORD: “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted…” Job 42:1-2

LISTEN : A young girl was sighted crying and sobbing profusely. The man who saw her asked her, “Young girl, why are you crying?” She replied, “I want to die. I am tired of life. There is nothing to live for.” The man asked again; “Why did you say there is nothing to live for?” She replied tearfully, “I have lost everything. My parents and siblings have been killed by war.” The man broke down in tears and hugged her and wrapped his arms around her neck for a long while and looked at her and said, “You will not die. You are left of your family to make a difference. I have been in same situation some years ago. I lost everything and attempted suicide, but God sent someone who came at the right time and saved me just the same way He has sent me to save you. Look at me today, I have gained more than I ever lost. So be strong and have faith in God. You will be fine” Immediately she wipes her tears and declares, “I will not die. I will be strong, and I will put my trust in God.” My dear, perhaps your own case is similar to this young girl’s; but just be strong and hopeful. Job lost everything to disaster, yet, he anchored his hope in God. He made this declaration about God, “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted.” (Job 42:1-2). Job believes that, no matter the situation, God’s purpose for his life will prevail. And God answered him eventually. Beloved, it is not yet over with you. No matter your tragedies or misfortunes God can turn it around. However, to experience a turn around in your situations, you must believe that, God can do all things (Mark 9:23). For he who believes that, God can do all things will surely receive intervention from Him. Be wise!

Bible Verse : You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

LISTEN : Searching for God does not mean that He is missing, but that, we are disconnected from Him and needs to be reconnected to Him. You cannot find God until you search for Him with all your heart. God is closer to us than we thought, but cannot be seen or found until we are ready to search for Him with passion. A lot of us regularly feel the absence of God around us because we are not conscious of Him. We have not searched for Him with the whole of our hearts, therefore cannot encounter Him. God searches every heart and He knows those who are serious with Him. God is a great God. Therefore, if you must discover Him, you must search for Him with the whole of your heart. Anything short of that, you will remain a stranger to Him and His manifestations. My dear, do not give up striving to know God; instead, continue the search for Him until you find Him at the centre of your life. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear Lord, I thank you for your love for me. Help me to seek and serve you with all my heart, in Jesus’ name, amen.
