Verse Of The Day : Let the peace of Christ be in control in your heart (for you were in fact called as one body to this peace), and be thankful. Colossians 3:15 (NET)

LISTEN : No one can experience the peace of God until he or she is prepared to follow God’s instructions. Most times, we lose the peace of God in our lives because we choose worry over faith in God. No one worries and expects to have peace of mind. Worry rob people of peace of mind and create more problems than they ever have. But when we trust and obey God, we surrender our hearts to Him and His presence will produce His peace in our hearts, and affect our relationship with others. Beloved, if you don’t have peace of mind, you can’t live in peace with others. If you don’t have peace you can’t give peace. As the people of God, God called us to be peaceful. And to achieve this, we must be positive minded. This is why our Bible verse today ends with the statement, “And be thankful.” (Colossians 3:15b). When you’re thankful for everything, you can never lose the peace of God in your heart. My dear, allow the peace of God to rule in your heart. Life will be a living hell if peace is dead in your life, or our midst. No two or more people can live together if they’re not ready to give peace a chance. Brothers and sisters will remain at war with one another if peace has no place in their lives. People will live in fear and pain when peace is rejected. My dear, the solution to your lack of inner peace and peace with others is the peace of God. So, let the peace of God rule in your heart today and your life will experience the glory of God. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. Ephesians 5:10

LISTEN : Beloved, you have a duty to perform if you desire a relationship with God. And your duty is to find out or discover what pleases God. God is not man. His ways are not our ways. (Isaiah 55:8-9). As a matter of fact, not everything pleases Him. But the good news is that, God has made known His will to us through His words. The Bible says, “He has told you, O man, what is good, and what the LORD really wants from you: He wants you to promote justice, to be faithful, and to live obediently before your God.” (Micah 6:8). My dear, we’re not in any form of difficulty to find out the will of God. His will is for us to promote justice, be faithful to Him and to live obediently to Him. This means that, we should discourage injustice, unfaithfulness and disobedience to the word of God. As lovers of God, let’s strive to find out what pleases Him and live in line with His will always. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear Lord, help us to find out your will for us always, and to live in line with your will, in Jesus’ name, amen.
