Verse Of The Day : I choose the path of faithfulness; I am committed to your regulations. Psalms 119:30

LISTEN: Decision affects results, because decision directs actions. The path you choose for yourself will determine the future you will create (Matthew 7:13-14). Therefore, you should be careful to make a good choice for yourself. Sadly, a lot of people tend to choose the wrong path because they find it easier to go with. They prefer the path of least resistance to the path of hard work and dedication. They find pleasure in unfaithfulness than faithfulness. They make choices without considering the corresponding consequences. Hear this! A gospel Evangelist visited the prison in a certain place. And in the male ward, he spotted a young man who was very sad and disturbed. He asked, “Young man, what is the problem with you? Do you think you cannot come out of this prison alive? ” After few minutes of silence, the young man replied tearfully, “Noooo! The jail term is not my problem. Just that I am ashamed of myself because I have made the wrong choice. When I was growing up as a teenager, I thought disobedience to my parents and rules and regulations were the best things to do. I never know it was a wrong choice. If I had listened to my parents I would not be here today. I am here because I chose unfaithfulness over faithfulness.” My dear, like this young man, this is how we determine our destinies by our own choices. But David said, “I choose the path of faithfulness; I am committed to your regulations.” (Psalms 119:30). Like David, let us choose the path of faithfulness (righteousness) and avoid the consequences of a wrong choice. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus also was baptized. And while he was praying, the heavens opened. Luke 3:21

LISTEN : God is committed to opening the heaven for you, if you are willing to commit yourself to obeying Him and pouring out your heart to Him in prayer. There is an open heaven for everyone who is dedicated to God. “Open heaven” refers to an unhindered manifestation of God’s presence and glory in the earth, to bless and touch every aspect of the person or people He wants to bless. God is willing to release an “open heaven” to us if we are prepared and desperate to pray for it. “Open heaven” is God’s desire for all believers in Christ Jesus. However, we can hinder “open heaven” if we refuse to walk in line with God. Our desire for an “open heaven” should be as a result of our hunger to please God through our lives. Beloved, God can open the heaven for you if you can open your heart to Him. You may ask, what should I do to trigger an open heaven? To trigger an open heaven you must walk in faith and obedience to God; be prayerful and dedicated to Him, have the fear of God and maintain a relationship with God and His people. (see Deut 28:1-2; Malachi 3:8-12; 1Thess 5:17; Acts 10:9-17; Ezekiel 1:1; Psalms 5:12; 84:11). My dear, open heaven will give you access to divine revelations, divine secrets, favour, protection, authority, divine provisions ; and access to the presence of God. Surely, the heaven will be opened to you if you will open your heart to God today. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear Lord, all powers belong to You. Therefore, cause an open heaven for me and my family today, in Jesus’ name, amen.
