Verse Of The Day : Be of the same mind one toward another. Do not be arrogant, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own conceits. Romans 12:16

LISTEN : A little boy returns from school one afternoon, and asks his father a very funny question. He said, “Dad, why are my classmates not thinking and acting like me? They are very dull. I hate them!” His father smiles and said, “Son, everyone else cannot be you. People are created in unique ways. There are things they know that you do not know. Son, never try to make everyone else exactly like you. Make sure you appreciate each person’s uniqueness.” The little boy frowns and walks away. When he returns from school the next day, he smiles as he walks to his father and says, “Dad, I was very happy today in school. I was impressed with my classmates.” His father asked, “Why son? Did they do anything different from what they used to do?” His son replied, “No! Just that I have taken them for who they are.” With excitement his father hugs him and exclaims, “That is my boy! Son, never expect everyone else to be like you. Do that and you will be happy in life.” My dear, a lot of people see others like the little boy in our story today. If you cannot think and live like them you are nothing to them. They are not considerate, very arrogant, and always wise in their own eyes. They fail to realise that God created everyone in some unique ways. (Romans 12:6-8). As a matter of fact, everyone else cannot be you. My dear, life will be so frustrating trying to make everyone else just like you. Allow others to express their unique nature. Life will be sweet if we can gladly blend our uniqueness to accomplish a common goal for humanity and to the glory of God. Beloved, to be happy in life, you should learn to appreciate the uniqueness of others. Remember, everyone else cannot be you. Be wise!

Verse Of The Day : Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

LISTEN : “Worry, worry, worry! Can you fix any problems just by worrying about them?” A man asked his troubled friend. Sadly, this is what most people do. Worrying about everything. Why worry about your needs and problems when you can pray and trust God? Do you think God does not care about you? Besides, what do you think you can fix by worrying yourself? Beloved, God cares about you. Yes, He cares about us! No matter what you are facing right now, God is still faithful and does care about you. (Psalms 94:14 ; 55:22). The faithfulness of God is for all generations. Therefore, always trust His faithfulness and He will sustain you. Do not believe the lies that God does not care about your problems. Our verse of the day says, “Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). Beloved, God is your maker. He created you for His good purposes. So, why doubt His ability to meet your needs and fix your problems. My dear, cheer up! God loves you. Learn to have faith in Him, stop worrying yourself, trust His promises, determine never to give up on Him, refuse to fear or faint in the face of troubles, and wait patiently for Him. Do not waste your time worrying when you can praise, pray and trust God’s faithfulness. God is willing to help, so do not destroy your life. Look up in faith, surely you will see God. Learn to cast all your worries on Him, because he cares for you. Be wise!

Blessed Father, because I believe in you therefore, I drop my burdens and pains at your feet today, in Jesus’ name, amen.
