Verse Of The Day : You do not know about tomorrow. What is your life like? For you are a puff of smoke that appears for a short time and then vanishes. You ought to say instead, “If the Lord is willing, then we will live and do this or that. James 4:14-15

LISTEN : Do you know everything about tomorrow? Do you know what the next minute will bring forth? Certainly not! Sadly, a lot of people live as though they have everything under their control. They live like people who have the whole world in their hands and fail to understand that life is full of uncertainties. People make big plans for their future yet, die when they least expected it. Others lose their jobs, businesses, etc. when they thought everything was going on fine. That leaves us with a very big question, “Who then owns the world?” “Can we resist his power when he comes asking for our lives?” (see Psalms 24:1;Ecclesiastics 8:8). My dear, let us learn to depend on God for tomorrow. When we realise that tomorrow is not in our hands, we will worship, honour and fear God. We will appreciate Him and make our decisions in recognition of His love and mercy. Addressing his audience on how to live, Apostle James urged them to live each day by depending on the grace of God. The Bible says, “Come now, you who say, ‘“Today or tomorrow we will go into this or that town and spend a year there and do business and make a profit.” You do not know about tomorrow. What is your life like? For you are a puff of smoke that appears for a short time and then vanishes. You ought to say instead, “If the Lord is willing, then we will live and do this or that.” ‘(James 4:13-15) Beloved, tomorrow is bigger than us. You cannot be too sure of everything about tomorrow. So, be wise and learn to commit your plans to God and He will cause you to accomplish your heart desires. Be wise!

Bible Verse : But the one who hates his fellow Christian is in the darkness, walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. 1John 2:11

LISTEN : We are one in Christ Jesus no matter the background, colour, size, race, etc. As Christians we belong to God through Christ Jesus. However, we cannot appreciate this fact until we put on the nature of God. My dear, love is the nature of God (1 John 4:8). We cannot walk in love at the same time hate one another. Besides, we cannot claim to worship God if there is no love for Him and humanity (1John 4:20,21). Love for humanity, especially those who are of the household of faith (fellow believers in Christ) ) is pleasing to God. We should love others dearly and unconditionally. That is, we should show interest in the well-being of others and making sacrifices for them no matter what. That is the nature of God. God is love and does everything in love. Therefore, once we have received His love as His children, He expects us to love others just the same way he loves us. Beloved, our claim of piety is in vain if love is missing in our lives. The Bible says, “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love” (1 John 4:8). This means that, not to love others is not to love God. When you refuse to love others even after embracing Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, then you do not belong to God. You are still in darkness and your eyes are blinded. My dear, open your eyes to the light of the gospel of truth and you will live. Be wise!

1. Thank God for a wonderful day.
2. Ask Him for forgiveness and grace to follow His will.
3. Ask Him to enable you love others the way God loves them.
4. Destroy all plans and manipulations of the devil against you and the churches of God.
5. Thank God for answering your prayers.

It is well with you. May the heart to love others be given to you. And may God bless your obedience, in Jesus ‘ name, amen.
