Verse Of The Day : Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 1John 3:18

LISTEN : Love cannot be seen or said to be real unless it is expressed by action. You can have a lot of love “in your heart” that never does anyone any good if you do not express and act on it. The love of God is known through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ for our sins. The Bible says, “But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.(Romans 5:8). This is why the Bible is urging us to love others sincerely. Our verse of the day says, “Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.” (1John 3:18). Genuine love does not end in words, rather it grows into action. Love is not “a thing of the lip”, but “a thing of the heart.” When your mouth says, “I love you”, your heart should be moved to act. When we love just with the mouth we deceive, but when we love from the heart we bless our object of love. Imagine God saying He loves humanity without doing anything to remedy the fall of man in Eden, is it possible to believe He truly loves us? The answer is No! We believe in the love of God for man because He made the ultimate sacrifice with His Son. His love for us is demonstrated by giving. In the same way my dear, if you claim to love someone you should be willing and happy to give to his or her well-being. You can give anything (encouragement, motivation, your time, money, counsel, direction, etc). Learn to make sacrifices for others, because sacrifice is the evidence of true love. Henceforth, do not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Sanctify them by your truth; your word is truth John 17:17

LISTEN : Do you want to be cleansed from the impurities of sin? Then, accept the words of God. God’s word cleanses the dirt of sin and presents the sinner blameless before God. The word of God produces what we need to be dedicated to God. His word guarantees the cleansing we need to connect to Him. Jesus Christ is the Word of God. He is the ultimate truth. Jesus Christ prays to His Father to sanctify his disciples with the truth, the Word of God. He prays to make them pure and cleanse them from sin (1Th 5:23;1Co 6:11). Truly, sanctification in the life of the believer is progressive. Through the word of God the believer is made to become more like Christ and less attached to the world. The word of God enables the believer to get the control over evil thoughts, passions, and impure desires. Besides, through the word of God, the believer’s eyes are opened to those things which are unseen and eternal. As a result, he is consecrated, and set apart to God’s purpose. Beloved, Jesus Christ wants you to be made more holy and truly consecrated to God as a follower of His religion. As believers in Christ Jesus, we can only be devoted to the service of God if we are pure and renewed by the word of God. When we value God’s word, it will separate us from sin, provoke dedication and consecration; gives freedom (John 8:32), etc. Henceforth, esteem the word of God because it is your weapon against sin and Satan. Be wise!

1. Pray and bless God for His love and protection.
2. Ask God for forgiveness and mercy.
3. Ask God to sanctify you by His word.
4. Pray and destroy all satanic plans against you and your family today.

It is well with you. May God sanctify you by His word. May the blessings of the word locate you, in Jesus’ name, amen.
