Verse Of The Day : The one who associates with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. Proverbs 13:20

LISTEN : Wisdom begat wisdom, just as foolishness will give birth to foolishness. Therefore, to be wise, one should associate with the wise. (Pro 13:20). God is wise and wants us to be wise too. Wisdom is the beauty of life. It makes life worthwhile and increases one’s value. (Pro 4:7; Eccles 7:12). Beloved, until your life has value you cannot add value to someone else’s life; for no one gives what they do not have. God created us to share with others and add value to their own lives. Sadly, because of selfishness and wickedness in the hearts of men, a lot of people feel threatened by the success and rise of others; as a result, they find it hard to share their expertise and knowledge with others. But genuine and godly people are not like that. They believe that “the sky is wide enough for all birds to fly without colliding.” My dear, increase the value of others by sharing your own with them. Increasing the value of others does not decrease your own value, instead it will add to it. Life is about making an impact. Therefore, never be afraid to make impact in the lives of others. Be willing to increase the value of anyone who comes in contact with you. Make their lives better than you first met them. That is one of the proofs of your wisdom. If you cannot affect the lives of others by increasing their values, then you have failed God and humanity. Brethren, we all should exist like a magnet; for no iron comes around a magnet and not feel its impact. So, let others feel your impact in their lives and appreciate God for using you to increase their value in life. Be wise!

Bible Verse : But be you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. James 1:22

LISTEN: Do you heed the word of God? After hearing God’s word, do you take time to meditate to know what God expects you to do? Beloved, genuine children of God are known for their willingness to obey and serve God with their whole hearts. (Matthew 7:21). They are not mere hearers but doers of the word of God. They value the word of God more than their own lives. They are not forgetful hearers but doers of it. My dear, are you living in line with what you hear or read from the word of God? As children of God, our lives should influence those living in darkness not the other way round. We should attract the unbelieving world to our faith in Christ by the way we live. When we go to church but refused to be transformed by the word of God, we deceive ourselves. Truly, self-deception is the worst form of deception. So, having received forgiveness for our sins through the death of Jesus Christ, we should make an effort to grow our faith and sustain our salvation. The Bible says, “So then, my beloved, even as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” (Philippians 2:12). Beloved, as you hear, read, study or meditate on the word of God, determine to live in obedience to God. Be wise!

1. Thank God for a wonderful day.
2. Ask Him for forgiveness and restoration.
3. Ask God for grace to obey and honour His word.
4. Cancel every satanic plans against your life and thank God for prayer answered.

It is well with you. May the Lord bless you. May the Lord grant you the grace to obey and honour His word, in Jesus’ name, amen.
