Verse Of The Day : For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

LISTEN : Imagine a world without love, what will you expect? Hate, violence, revenge, killing, and all manner of evil, right? This shows that love is the foundation and beauty of life. And it springs from a pure heart that is committed to the happiness and well-being of others. This season is a season when people tend to express love for one another. A time when those who believe in Christ Jesus celebrates the love of God towards humanity. Jesus Christ was born because God loves us. He died on the cross because of love (John 15:13). He was concerned about our happiness and well-being, and therefore made sacrifice with His own life. That is what love stands for. Love makes sacrifice and shows commitment to the well-being of others. Love for God and one another should not be limited to a season, but must be a daily lifestyle. Love is important to our relationships with God and with one another. Beloved, without love, nothing is gained. No matter our faith, spirituality, abilities, talents, etc., without love all is useless before God (see 1 Corinthians 13:1-3,12). Friend, why is love important? Love is important because, life is meaningless without it ; love is the cure for selfishness and evil practices (Matthew 5:44,45 ; 1Peter 4:8) ; it is the foundation of everything we do (Matthew 22:37-40) , besides, love sweetens our relationship with God and fellow believers in Christ Jesus (Acts 2:44-46 ; 4:32). So, let us not limit love to this season, rather, let love be our lifestyle. Be wise!

Bible Verse : But be you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. James 1:22

LISTEN: Are you a faithful hearer of God’s word? A faithful hearer is a doer of the word. Going to church is not a guarantee that you are a genuine child of God. True children of God are known for their willingness to obey and serve God with their whole hearts. (Matthew 7:21). They are not mere hearers but doers of the word of God. They are not just churchgoers but God’s kingdom citizens. They are not forgetful hearers but hearers who obey the word of God. As children of God, our lives should influence those living in darkness not the other way round. We should attract the unbelieving world to our faith in Christ by the way we live. When we go to church but refused to be transformed by the word of God, we deceive ourselves. Truly, self-deception is the worst form of deception. So, having received forgiveness for our sins through the death of Jesus Christ, we should make an effort to grow our faith and sustain our salvation. The Bible says, “So then, my beloved, even as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” (Philippians 2:12). Beloved, as you hear, read, study or meditate on the word of God this time, determine to live in obedience to God. Be wise!

1. Thank God for a wonderful day.
2. Ask Him for forgiveness and restoration.
3. Ask God for grace to obey and honour His word.
4. Cancel every satanic plans against your life and thank God for prayer answered.

May the Lord bless you. May the Lord grant you the grace to obey and honour His word, in Jesus’ name, amen.
