Verse Of The Day: Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Psalms 103:1-2

LISTEN: : It is just few days to the end of the year, and people are busy and tends to do everything in a rush and high hopes. A lot of plans are being made on how to enjoy this Christmas, but nothing is remembered about the goodness of God. (Psalms 107:31). No one seems to reflect on how we started this year, and how others could not make it to the end of the year. Beloved, your life is a privilege and a gift from God to you. It must not be taken for granted. It is time to express your gratitude to God by reflecting on all He has done for you and yours. Appreciate Him for your family, your success in marriage, business, your job; the peace of God in your home, nation, etc. Thank Him for comfort of the Holy Spirit in your times of pain, tragedy, rejection, sorrow, hardship, frustration, loss of job, bereavement, sickness, etc. (Psalms 73:25-26;Isaiah 43:2). Where many failed, you overcame. So, stop counting your losses and begin to count your blessings and give thanks to God. There is always something to be grateful for. No matter what you are going through, or may have gone through, there is still something left for you (your life). Beloved, if there is life there is hope. You are not down and out. God is working out something for you behind the scenes. Therefore, like David in our verse of the day, appreciate God for all He has done and yet to do in your life. If you can appreciate God for what He has done for you no matter how little, He will do the big ones for you. Henceforth, ignore your pain and begin to celebrate your gains. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Your word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against you. Psalms 119:11

LISTEN : Beloved, do you have the word of God in your heart? Do you value His words? God’s word is good enough to keep you from sin. People enjoy living in sin because they are bankrupt of the word of God. Friend, how much do you love the word of God? God’s words in your heart will influence your life positively. Your actions are based on the state of your heart. Therefore, if your heart is empty of God’s words, your actions will be dominated by evil. That is why we are urged to protect our hearts. The Bible says, “Guard your heart with all vigilance, for from it are the sources of life.” (Proverbs 4:23).Beloved, if you lose control of your heart, you have lost control of your life. So, guard your heart jealously with the words of God, because your life is a function of it. Do not play with God’s words, instead, take it seriously. Our Bible verse this evening tells us how to stay out of sin and disobedience to God. The Psalmist says, “Your word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against you.” (Psalms 119:11). Beloved, do you have God’s words in your heart? Do you read and meditate in the words of God? If not, do it today and you will be blessed. Be wise!

1. Pray and bless God for His love and the gift of life.
2. Ask for forgiveness and restoration of your life.
3. Pray for divine protection tonight and the peace of God in your heart.
4. Ask God for grace to treasure His words in your heart.
5. Pray and cancel every evil plan against you tonight.

May the Lord bless you and open your eyes to His will as long as you live, in Jesus’ name, amen.
