Verse Of The Day: The one who stiffens his neck after numerous rebukes will suddenly be destroyed without remedy. Proverbs 29:1

LISTEN: God wants everyone of us to come back to Him. That is why He gave up His son Jesus Christ to save us. Therefore, hardening our hearts against Him is dangerous and unreasonable. Those who harden their hearts against God have chosen to travel on the way to eternal destruction and death. When the heart is hardened against God, destruction has been made inevitable. (Proverbs 29:1). My dear, God does not want anyone to be destroyed, rather, He wants all to be saved. However, the choice to be saved or be lost lies with us. God has shown us how to live. Therefore, if we live outside His will, it is because we choose to do so. The Bible says, “Will the LORD accept a thousand rams, or ten thousand streams of olive oil? Should I give him my firstborn child as payment for my rebellion, my offspring – my own flesh and blood – for my sin? He has told you, O man, what is good, and what the LORD really wants from you: He wants you to promote justice, to be faithful, and to live obediently before your God.” (Micah 6:7-8). So, let us not harden our hearts against Him; for He will be provoked to anger when we harden our hearts against Him. (1 Samuel 2:25 ; Ezekiel 18:4). Henceforth, let us promote justice, holiness, godliness, Faithfulness, love, forgiveness, peace among all people, and the likes; and the world will be a better place for all of us. Be wise!

Verse Of The Day : Great peace have they which love your law: and nothing shall offend them. Psalms 119:165

LISTEN : The seed of peace is planted in your heart the day you decide to obey the word of God; because there is no peace for the wicked. Peace is priceless and wonderful. Nothing is secured where peace is absent. Prosperity and development thrive in the ‘soil of peace.’ Sadly, peace has become a rare virtue in many families, towns, communities, states and nations of the world today because of wickedness of men. Many are driven by selfishness and greed, as a result, they can do anything to achieve their selfish aims, including instigating crisis and war. They enjoy crisis and war, and forget that loss of peace can result in loss of life. Absence of peace will create insecurity, fear, anxiety, untimely death, stagnation, backwardness, frustration, killing, pain, sorrow and all manner of heartbreaking experiences. However, in a world of evil and wickedness, lovers of God can still find peace. When the world cannot find peace because of troubles, lovers of God can experience abundant peace in the midst of troubles. Beloved, peace is possible in Christ Jesus. Jesus said to His disciples, “I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage – I have conquered the world.” (John 16:33). The mystery behind the peace of God the believer enjoys in the midst of troubles is based on his relationship with God. The believer derives comfort and peace from the word of God. As a result, nothing can hurt or offend him. He is not afraid of bad news because his God is in control. Beloved, is your life characterised by crisis and war? Have faith in God and you will enjoy great peace no matter the circumstance. Be wise!

1. Thank God for His blessings and peace in your life.
2. Ask Him for mercy and forgiveness for your sin.
3. Ask God to bless you, your family and the society with peace.
4. Pray and pull down strongholds and forces of darkness.
5. Thank God for answering your prayer.

Today, I prophesy to you, may God fill your heart with peace and save your troubled heart, in Jesus’ name, amen.
