Verse Of The Day: So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Psalms 90:12

LISTEN: God’s word is a channel of wisdom. His word affects our mind and transforms our lives. True wisdom comes from God. True wisdom is to think the way God thinks. The word of God is the bank of wisdom. Wisdom in biblical sense is the “ability to judge correctly and follow the best course of action, based on knowledge and understanding. God’s word opens our eyes to the source of true wisdom by showing us His ways. Beloved, following the ways of wisdom causes us to be in harmony with God. Until we appreciate God’s word we cannot understand His ways or follow His will. Therefore, to understand the ways of God we must allow His word to dwell richly in our hearts. (Colossians 3:16). Until the word of God fills our hearts, it cannot affect our lives. Beloved, God’s word in our hearts will produce right actions and judgement. True wisdom is important because it will instill in us the fear of God. (Psalms 111:10; Pro15:33). God’s word teaches wisdom that enables us to live honestly and wisely in a corrupt system and society. Those who are poor in the word of God are poor in wisdom; that is, there is no true wisdom which is not a result of obedience to God’s words. Beloved, God’s word gives insight and understanding. When we have God’s word in our hearts, it will enable us to teach, build and encourage one another to please God. However, where God’s word is undermined, people will grow in sin and ungodliness. Beloved, no real wisdom comes outside the word of God. God’s word is the best instructional book we can ever have in the world. When we embrace the word of God wisdom will come naturally. Therefore, let us embrace God’s word today and receive the wisdom that comes from it.

Bible Verse : Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him. Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. Psalms 37:7

LISTEN: Are you tired of waiting for God to do what you want Him to do for you? My dear, calm down and wait for Him. Have faith in Him and He will surprise you with His favour. He will grant you your heart desires. Those who wait for Him cannot be disappointed. Sadly, a lot of people feel bad when they are asked to wait for what they desired so much. They feel disappointed any time it appears like they have been abandoned. They fail to acknowledge the fact that God cannot forsake His people. (Hebrew 13:5). God is merciful and kind to His people. No matter what happens, it shall be well with those who trust and wait for God. (Isaiah 3:10). Beloved, do not worry about the “prosperity” of the wicked, instead, strive to live in line with the will of God; certainly you will not regret it. Never be in a hurry for prosperity, rather, be diligent and trust the LORD. Always lean on God even when it seems nothing is working for you. People may give up on you or reject you, yet, do not give up on God. Besides, do not envy the wicked who “prospers” in what he does, for he will not stand when God visits. Wait for the blessings of the LORD, though it may delay, but it will come, and it will come with no sorrow. (Proverbs 10:22). My dear, no matter what, do not rush to where God does not lead you to, because you will surely rush out in frustration and heartbreak. Be wise!

1. Glorify God for today no matter the challenges of the day.
2. Ask God for forgiveness, and grace to be committed to Him.
3. Pray God to help you wait patiently for Him in all situations.
4. Intercede for believers in Christ around the world for grace to live for God.
5. Pray against all sorts of wickedness tonight, and ask God to keep you safe.

Today I prophesy to you, may God keep you from falling. May the Lord show you the path of righteousness and order your steps in the right direction, in Jesus’ name, amen.
