Author: Bishop Julius Okarike

Verse Of The Day: For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the LORD. ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope. Jeremiah 29:11

LISTEN: God’s plans for His people are wonderful. He reserves unimaginable blessings for those who love Him. As a result, He can use any situation to establish His purpose in their lives. (Romans 8:28). No matter what His people go through, His plans for them are of good and not of evil. God is willing to pour out His blessings upon those who can trust and obey Him no matter what. Beloved, no matter what you see, or experience, determine to focus on the promises of God. Anchor your hope on His word. The journey may not be easy, but the end is already determined by our God. The road to your success may be rough, but victory is sure. Just keep working and investing your life purposefully; and free your mind from all anxieties, and trust the faithfulness of God instead. I know the year is about to end and the blessing of God is yet to find expression in your life, don’t worry! End of year is not end of favour, or end of the road. God is working for you behind the scenes. When in captivity in Babylon, the Israelites thought it was not necessary to be happy and live their normal life. They were desperate to leave Babylon; as a result, they refused to work to succeed and prosper. But God through His prophet Jeremiah urged them to work and trust Him for intervention (Jeremiah 29:5,6). Beloved, like the Israelites in captivity, have you chosen to be stagnant because of circumstances? Are you bothered about your situations instead of believing the word of God? Wake up! You will miss the blessings of God if you fail to trust His word. The word of God says, “For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the LORD. ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11). So, be calm and trust God in everything. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. Matthew 7:7

LISTEN : You may not receive until you ask, seek and knock on God’s door of favour. Learning to ask is learning to receive. God gives answer when we ask. He reveals and releases hidden things when we seek; and He will let us into His chambers and home of abundance and mysteries when we knock on His door. God honours those who are importunate in prayer. He blesses those who are tenacious in seeking to discover His will and receive His blessings. He will not ignore those who refuse to give up on knocking on the door of mercy and blessings. He promises to respond when we sincerely ask, seek and knock on His door of grace. The Bible says, “For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.” (Matthew 7:8). My dear, stop complaining and begin to ask, seek and knock on the door you want to open up in your life. Never forget that “not to ask is not to receive, not to seek is not to find ; and not to knock is to have yourself locked out of God’s blessings.” (James 4:2,3). Never miss any opportunity to ask, seek and knock on God’s door through prayer. Whatever your needs are, pray fervently and expect confidently, and God will cause you to receive His abundant and endless blessings. Be wise!

1. Thank God for His blessings and grace to you.
2. Ask Him for mercy and forgiveness of your sin.
3. Ask Him for your needs and trust Him to attend to them.
4. Pray against every satanic manipulation in your life.
5. Thank God for prayer answered.

Today, I prophesy to you, may God answer you when you call to Him, amen!
