Verse Of The Day : It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life. John 6:63

LISTEN :Jesus Christ is the living word of God. He is the word of life. His advent to the world is a clear expression of God’s visit to humanity. As the living word of life, Jesus Christ manifests the Spirit of God. God’s word carries life because it carries the power of God. He who esteems the word of God will experience divine transformation. Our human nature does not have what it takes to build us into the kind of people God desire. Only the word of God does, and that is what Jesus Christ represents, because He manifest the Spirit of God. (Hebrews 4:12). We cannot be filled with the Spirit of God until we are filled with the word of life. Besides, we cannot experience real life until we have encountered God’s word. God’s word, whether spoken directly by Him, or by His faithful servants are still the same. The same words Jesus Christ spoke when He walked the earth are the same we (his servants) speak today and lives are transformed around the world. However, to be blessed by the word of God, you must first of all embrace and believe it. Beloved, when you believe the word of God you will lose confidence in the flesh; and will begin to grow in faith and stop pleasing your human nature at the espense of God. Friend, embrace God’s word today to experience transformation and real life. Jesus said, “It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.” (John 6:63 NHEB). So, never rely on the flesh, but rather follow the voice of God through His ever living word. Be Wise!

Bible Verse : Your word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against you. Psalms 119:11

LISTEN : God’s word opens our eyes to His will and fill our hearts with honour and awe for Him. His word is good enough to keep us from sin. People enjoy living in sin because they are bankrupt of the word of God. Friend, how much do you love the word of God? God’s words in your heart will influence your life positively. Your actions are based on the state of your heart. Therefore, if your heart is empty of God’s words, your actions will be dominated by evil. That is why we are urged to protect our hearts. The Bible says, “Guard your heart with all vigilance, for from it are the sources of life.” (Proverbs 4:23). Beloved, if you lose control of your heart, you have lost control of your life. So, guard your heart jealously with the words of God, because your life is a function of it. Do not play with God’s words, instead, take it seriously. Our Bible verse this evening tells us how to stay out of sin and disobedience to God. The Psalmist says, “Your word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against you.” (Psalms 119:11). Beloved, do you have God’s words in your heart? Do you read and meditate in the words of God? If not, do it today and you will be blessed. Never forget that, if your heart is empty of God’s word, your life will be empty of His purpose for your life. Be wise!

1. Pray and bless God for His love and the gift of life.
2. Ask for forgiveness and restoration of your life.
3. Pray for divine protection tonight and the peace of God in your heart.
4. Ask God for grace to treasure His words in your heart.
5. Pray and cancel every evil plan against you tonight.

May the Lord bless you and open your eyes to His will as long as you live, in Jesus’ name, amen.
