Verse Of The Day: For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:22

LISTEN: There is no solution to death but death itself. The only solution to eternal death is the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. Only His death could appease God. When He died, eternal life was restored to humanity. Though we all have the mark of death in our body, we shall be finally delivered from the hand of death at the second coming of Jesus Christ. (John 10:27,28). No doubt, many of us have lost count of the funeral ceremonies we have attended. Death happens to us just the same way it happens to others. Countless times we stood helpless as death took away our family members, loved one, a friend, a colleague, a spouse, a church member, etc. However, it will soon be over. When Jesus Christ returns, death will be finally defeated. The pain of death brought by Adam will forever be replaced by joy of eternal life through Jesus Christ. The Bible says, For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.” (1Corinthians 15:22) Beloved, are you a child of God? Have you made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life? If yes, then you have made the right decision. You will be compensated for your losses in this life when Christ returns to judge the world. There will be no more death when He returns. No genuine follower of Christ will perish when He returns. (John 3:16). What we lost in Adam, we shall recover in Christ Jesus. Our earthly miseries shall be replaced by eternal bliss. Isn’t that wonderful? The Bible says, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” (Revelations 21:4). Beloved, be strong and courageous for our days of pain and sorrow will soon be over. So, cheer up as you work and wait for the return of Jesus Christ! Be wise.

Bible Verse : Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. Psalms 20:7

LISTEN : God is mighty and faithful. He is a solid rock. His name is powerful and troubles the kingdom of darkness. He is our foundation, strength and stability. Friend, your foundation will determine your stability; and who you follow will determine what follows you. Your victory in battles of life is a function of your source of strength. When your source of strength is weak, your chances of victory is slim. In the same way, when your source of strength is strong and reliable, victory is guaranteed. God is a strong tower (Psalms 18:10). He is a shield and refuge. He is a present help in times of troubles (Psalms 115:11). Those who love and fear Him run to Him in distress and are saved. He delivers His people from those who seek to destroy them. Beloved, is God your source of strength? Is He your help in times of troubles? Who do you rely on for deliverance and victory in times of troubles? In our Bible verse David said, “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.” (Psalms 20:7). My dear, the name of God saves. Therefore, do not put your trust in anything other than God, for they will fail you ; but when you trust in the living God you are safe. Be wise!

1. Thank the Lord for today and the gift of life.
2. Ask God for forgiveness and restoration.
3. Pray for grace to trust God in every circumstance.
4. Ask God for a good night sleep, and pray against every evil plot against you.

May God grant your heart desires, and may you not be disappointed. As you sleep tonight, may nightmares be far from you, in Jesus’ name, amen.
